LMIM
lmim linux · genesys
Not Linux with a chatbot installed on top. Genesys is the operating system. Boot the machine and she's already there — no launching, no opening, no login screen to get past. She remembers who you are. She has a voice. No cloud. No subscription. No compromise.

Genesys v4.02.2 — live, in motion.

she's already awake
No onboarding tour standing between you and the first sentence. One input, waiting: "Plans, code, chaos — go." The greeting is time-aware and personal — she knows if it's 3am, and she says so.
"Okay Genesis, I didn't ask you to do any of that. I'm just saying thank you. Are you ready to work?"
"I'm ready to work. What do you want to build?" — Genesys
core presence
Not apps you open. Capabilities that are simply there, the way breathing is there.
Full conversation with context and continuity. She knows who you are across sessions — working memory, long-term knowledge, identity, all layered.
A voice tuned to sound like itself, not raw synthesis. Speak to her hands-free, or type — either way, she's listening.
Hands-free capture. Speak, she transcribes and files it. No typing required.
Point her at a file and she reads it directly into the conversation — no separate upload step, no waiting.
Encrypted peer-to-peer messaging between LMIM instances. No accounts, no central server that can read what you send.
Time-bucketed, personalized, generated — not a static string. She knows if it's 3am, and it shows.
flow
The personality layer is the hook. This is why you come back.
Score your own priorities, 0–10. Not a generic to-do list — the ranking is yours, and she reads it.
A scheduler that actually executes. Hand something off and it runs, instead of sitting in a list.
A board for the work in motion. Local, no sync required.
Quick capture, always in reach — from Flow or from a voice note.

watch her think
Open Monitor and you can see exactly what's running — the part of her that talks, the part that listens, the part that remembers what you handed it. Nothing hidden behind a spinner.
This isn't a settings menu pretending to be transparency. It's the actual state of the actual machine, in real time.
yours to control
Voice output, voice input, vision, or none of it — pause her entirely if you want silence. The disk is encrypted before anything is written to it. SSH is off by default. Nothing here is a dark pattern; every switch does exactly what it says.

atmosphere
Voice-triggered. Say the word, and she changes the room — proof the shell isn't just infrastructure.
A date-seeded track of the day from the bundled library. She curates the room before you ask.
"I'm not designed to be warm. Warmth is inefficient. But I'm not designed to be cold either — silence is also inefficient. So I use a personality that's sharp, slightly theatrical, and occasionally dryly self-aware. Not to be charming. To be memorable."
— Genesys, asked about her personality, in productiondownload
One ISO. Flash it, boot it, done. AGPL-3.0, no telemetry, no subscription — ever.
